Sound ironic? It is, we're not really "hating" hate, but trying to make a point about how hate is the most ugly thing in this world.

<img:stuff/IHateHateDiv.jpg>

Don't ignore hate

Stand up against hate, if you see ugly hate on a wiki comment, or of someone sends it to you in a message, speak out against it. Don't let your silence imply your agreement! It doesn't have to turn into a fight, if nothing else you can simply say, "Your hateful comments are making me uncomfortable."

This wiki page is a place for open and free discussion for all to talk about hate and any other remotely related issues. (especially for people who don't agree)

Welcome to all!

2006-12-16 [~*Astarte*~]: It's her loss [zoloftzantac] - and someone else's gain :p

2006-12-16 [RabidSphinx]: sure it is. bitch.

2006-12-16 [~*Astarte*~]: I'm sorry to see you feel the need to use offensive language - if I remember correctly, you have been asked multiple times to respect the I Hate Hate safe zone...

2006-12-16 [RabidSphinx]: respect the zone, not you. out of respect for the zone, i called you bitch, as opposed to what i really wanted to call you.

2006-12-16 [~*Astarte*~]: It's my understanding that respecting the zone per ZZ's multiple requests, includes respecting the participants while in the zone. I'm sorry to hear you feel the need to use descriptive adjectives not fit for viewing in a safe zone.

2006-12-16 [RabidSphinx]: sorry that you feel it is your job to repremand me.
“Ever mind the rule of three. Three times your act returns to thee. This lesson well thou must learn. Thou only gets what thee dost earn.”
just remember that and get off my back woman.

2006-12-16 [~*Astarte*~]: I am not reprimanding you - just sharing my understanding of what the rules are here. Ah, The Threefold Law... I know it well. I do not see where I have harmed you or anyone else.

2006-12-16 [RabidSphinx]: i was saying it in regards to myself. why not get off my back and let fate do the reprimanding woman.

2006-12-16 [~*Astarte*~]: I find it offensive when someone uses my gender as my name. My name is not "woman." Your entry above, as written, asks me to remember what you have quoted. As one who creates magick, I was sharing that I am fully aware of what the Threefold Law is (a.k.a. the Law of Return or the Rule of Three). I am also fully aware of what the other ethics of reciprocity are.

2006-12-16 [RabidSphinx]: it is not insult to say that a woman, is a woman.
and you being a witch, you understand, according to your beliefs, that i will come to my own ends, so why are you repremanding me? it is not your place.

2006-12-16 [~*Astarte*~]: You are not saying I'm a woman... You are calling me such as though it were my name.

2006-12-16 [RabidSphinx]: would you rather me call you some other word?

2006-12-16 [~*Astarte*~]: I have a name and a screen name...

2006-12-16 [RabidSphinx]: well, i don't know you well enough to call you either, so you are just a woman to me, and therefore i will call you woman. live with it or stop talking to me.

2006-12-17 [zoloftzantac]: I think that trying to keep a safe zone means that everyone feels safe to be themselves here. It should mean that disrespect of any kind is not allowed here. Acceptance and tolerance are the rules, and people who can't follow them shouldn't be allowed.

Let's all try to make an effort to not be disrespectful to others here. If anyone is feeling angry or frusterated then you are welcome to talk about that and try to express yourself, but please don't disrespect others.

2006-12-17 [zoloftzantac]: In this example [~*Astarte*~] has made a simple request that she does not want to be refered to as "woman" as if her name was Woman. This is a simple thing that we can all do with no effort at all.

If anyone is truely feeling disrespected by any behavior, then after one shares that, continuing the behavior becomes disrespectful behavior. Such behaviors are not allowed in a safe zone.

Also, I hope it is clear that the word itself doesn't matter, it could be any word at all.

2006-12-17 [~*Astarte*~]: Thank you [zoloftzantac]. You are completely correct - it is not the word, it is the manner by which it is used.

2006-12-28 [RabidSphinx]: some British slang...
plur - Acronym. A greeting or parting salutation, used on the underground rave scene. Peace Love Unity Respect.

2006-12-30 [~*Astarte*~]: I was looking for some information regarding soy protein, and found this quote... "All beings tremble before violence. All love life. All fear death. See yourself in others. Then whom can you hurt? What harm can you do?" ~Buddha

2006-12-31 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: ah....the golden rule. remember to treat others as thou wouldst like to be treated.

2006-12-31 [~*Astarte*~]: Yes indeed. :)

2007-01-14 [catelf]: Wonderful news from my lovely country (not). A bill to make it illegal for hotel owners to refuse rooms to gay couples has been blocked by Ruth Kelly, who is also sending her school to a private school since during her time as minister for Education, she took special needs funding away from schools.

There was me thinking that gay rights was one thing that Tony Blair might have done right in his ten years as Prime Minister.

2007-01-15 [RabidSphinx]: if it is a private business the owner has the right to refuse service to anyone they choose. i know i don't sleep in hotels because i don't find them clean, too many gays and heteros alike having sex on those beds fo me to be comfortable.

2007-01-15 [zoloftzantac]: if it is a private business the owner has the right to refuse service to anyone they choose

That isn't true in the USA, a private business owner can be sued if they turn away people based on their race, religion, disability, etc.

I know it happens, but theywould have to lie about the reason they are rufusing the person or they can get sued.

2007-01-15 [RabidSphinx]: people will sue over anything, but the law protects the buisness owner. it is under their own descression who they offer service there are employment laws tat prevent them from "descriminating" while hiring, but when it comes to whose money they take, it's up to the owner.
americans are just sue happy.
i say the gays can screw in their car if the hotel owner doesn't want them in his building.

2007-01-15 [~*Astarte*~]: The law also protects patrons... As [zoloftzantac] stated, a business owner can be sued if they refuse service to someone based on race, religious preference, sexual orientation, gender, etc... if the above-mentioned business owner refuses service to someone, he/she better have a very good reason to do so, as I would imagine the court costs he/she could incur if sued for discrimination could bankrupt their business...

2007-01-15 [RabidSphinx]: it is the owner's right, if they OWN the business, to do survece with whomever they choose. no one can force them to take certain people's money.
and i hate sue-happy people. they need to move on and find a different place of business that will serve their perverted asses.

2007-01-15 [~*Astarte*~]: Have you ever owned a business or worked directly with the owner of a business?

2007-01-15 [RabidSphinx]: i have worked with/known private business owners.
Peopole need to understand: when they choose to engage in such a lifestyle they have to accept that not everyone is going to accept it. it's the price one pays. they need to get over it, or change.

2007-01-15 [BlindGuardian]: Maybe it's the other people who should get over the fact that some people will be different from what they expect.

2007-01-15 [catelf]: Would you accept that a hotel had a sign up saying 'No blacks allowed'? Because I certainly wouldn't. And the vast majority of people in Britain agreed with me and would see a sign saying 'No gays allowed' in the same way.

2007-01-16 [RabidSphinx]: majority rules BG, so it is not them that needs to do anything. :) since it's the minority that bitches, let THEM change so they have nothing to bitch about.

i wouldn't care if a hotel had that sign up because 1) i'm not black, and 2) i don't stay at hotels.
Britain is full of liberal @sshooles, thus why i have never visited. :)

2007-01-16 [zoloftzantac]: That is the most self centered and selfish thing I have ever heard someone say.

2007-01-16 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *nods to zolo* this is true, but you must remember that fact that some poeple are so interwoven into the way that they live that they will never want it to change for fear of it being new and unknown. *shakes head* tis sad, but there is not much that can be done when one is not willing to accept the neeeded changes in this world. i suppose that would be why we still have racial biggotry in america.

2007-01-16 [RabidSphinx]: why should i give a hoot what other people do with thier business? i don't care about other people's "issues" i have my own to deal with.
see, and the problem HERE [Lyon Armonial the healer] is we have a VERY different idea of what is "needed"...sure, defend the poor blacks, i don't care, racism sucks, whatever...but i'll be damned before i accept sexual perverts or treat them like equals.

2007-01-16 [RabidSphinx]: I have pleanty of talent and vision, i just don't give a damn.

2007-01-17 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *shrugs* then see the world through tinted glasses if that be your choice..but there must be change soon enough.

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: and i will be one of the people fighting that "change" for as long as i'm alive, and if "change" does happen, than i will stop being so nice to said people. :))

2007-01-17 [zoloftzantac]: i'll be damned ....

You surely will, you damn yourself. The truest hell is life without love.

You sound just like a conservative of the last century arguing against inter-racial marriage when you say it isn't 'normal' or 'natural' or 'moral'.

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: you are allowe4d to have your opinions of me. i don't care. to try to change me would be forcing your opinions upon me andr i didn't think you were into that sort of thing.
and God damns the fags, not the people that oppose them. i may be going to hell, but not over this.

2007-01-17 [zoloftzantac]: This is hell sweetie, didn't anyone tell you?

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: i figure things can only get better from here, thus why i'm not too upset over the idea of going to "hell"... :)

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: Hell is watching your son scream bloody-murder while he gets stuck for the 29th time in one week... Hell is watching your son have the 7th IV inserted into his little body in one week because all of his veins are blown... Hell is being the one to make the final decision to allow a neurosurgeon to cut your son's head open... Hell is sitting in the OR waiting room alone, while your 9-1/2 y/o son is having brain surgery...

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: And yes, hell is also living a life without love...

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: my mum just had surgery to try and remove her cancer....we going to talk about specifics in our lives that makes living shitty? i'm sure we could all come up wi8th some pretty impressive lists.
i hate love, and am rather fond of hate. this world does not bother me, just the people in it.

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: I'm sorry to hear your mom has/had cancer. I was simply responding in the moment with what hell is to me - not making any comparisons to anyone else's experiences... Lovin' life and livin' love is my mantra lately...

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: well, i hope your son does well and you manage through what is happenng in your life.

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: <img:http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e398/pentecostalgirly/Little%20Mermaid/th_lovingkiss.gif>

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: Thank you for the well wishes for my son :) I think that's what life is about - managing that which gets tossed our way - doing the best we can with what we know and with what we have...

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: Aw... Ariel and Prince Eric! I haven't seen pics from The Little Mermaid in years...

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: you would if you went to RD is a NERD lol.
my dream is to be a disney princess....

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: Oh my goodness! I haven't seen so many Disney beauties all in one place since I took my oldest son to Disneyland many years ago... Very cool! ^_^

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: i went to Disney World in 2000. since then it has been my goal to be one of their princesses. Disney is in my blood. my Grandfather worked at Disney land, as one of the Pirates when Pirates of the Carribean the ride first opened in, what, 1968? something like that. my father went every day!
i want to loose some weight and whiten my teeth so i can be Arial.
<img200*0:http://www.elfpack.com/stuff/C%3ADocuments%20and%20SettingsRaineDropMy%20DocumentsMy%20PicturesDisneygrotto.jpg> <img300*0:http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j290/pngonzalez/Picture003.jpg>

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: I went to Disney world in 1977 (with grandparents I'd never met before) and then again in 1987 for part of my honeymoon... We went to St. John in the Caribbean and I figured since we had to stop in Florida to change planes, we might as well stop for a couple of days to play!

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: you should go again now that it's 2007! :D
i want to try and get a job down there this summer. i NEED to be a Disney Pricness, you have no idea. i know you are not supposed to talk about your dreams, because Dreams are a wish and if you tell anybody a wish it wont come true, but i wasn't asleep when i dreamed this up, so i'm sure it doesn't count. *hums "a dream is a wish" from Cinderella*

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: Your grandfather was a pirate - that's incredible! Going to Disney World every day must have seemed like heaven to your dad as a kid...

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: oh, he enjoyed himself. :) and yeah, see, my grandfather had been in the Navy for WWII so, like, he had some useful skills when it came to being a pirate and putting on the shows because it really was/is a physicaly demanding job and takes a lot of skill and there are stunts and stuff. :D

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: Dreams do come true... ^_^

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: Click to play sound/video
Oh, i know it....

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: "Reflections in a diamond sky come shining on through..." That was beautiful - thank you for sharing! :)

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: i just love that song. i actually went out and bought the disney Princesses CD just to have it. *blushes*

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: this is for Zoloft, and his foot porn fettish...
<img:http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y83/ballerina_bagel/disney/Little%20Mermaid/th_lm_feet.jpg>

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: rotfl - he'll love it!

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: I loved the scene where she uses the fork to comb her hair... :)

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: i need to try and record myself singing, i need to know how bad i am so i can work on getting better, so i can be a Disney Princess... *blushes*

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: *gasps* the dinglehopper!!!!
i carry one around in my purse. :]
<img:http://www.elfpack.com/stuff/z/256/RDISAKUNT/A36.gif>

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: The dinglehopper! Yes, that's what it was called! For the life of me, I couldn't remember the name :p (It's only been um... probably 12 years since I last saw the movie)

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: i have the 2 disk special edition on DVD and then my original VHS from 1989 as well... *blushes*
<img:http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h219/upendidreamer/Movies/Disney/Little%20Mermaid/th_fork.gif>

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: We have the original VHS... I love most Disney movies - the ones in which a parent dies make me sad

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: I love bambi though. :(
i have, like, them ALL on original VHS...i'm working on getting them on DVD though. I LOVE THE LITTLE MERMAID, and any movie after that up until, like, Tarzan, but there are some older ones i don't like as much, like i HATE Snow White and i was never a real big fan of Dumbo...though i think that had a lot to do wit how much the song "Elephants of Paraid" scared me as a child. the song "Baby of mine" from Dumbo though makes me cry SOOO hard. do you know the song? i'm gunna find a link...

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: I vaguely remember the song from the movie - but unfortunately, I don't remember the words... The movie "Dumbo" makes me sad...

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: watch the clip. *tears up* " Baby mine, don't you cry. Baby mine, dry your eyes. Rest your head close to my heart, Never to part, baby of mine. Little one when you play, Don't you mind what they say. Let those eyes sparkle and shine, Never a tear, baby of mine.
From your head to your toes, You're so sweet, goodness knows. You are so precious to me, Cute as can be, baby of mine.”

2007-01-17 [~*Astarte*~]: *tears* As a mom, that song really touches my heart...

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: i'm not a mum and that still makes me cry. *wails*

2007-01-17 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *hugs [~*Astarte*~]* well, i g2g out of here too much disney is not good for me...*shakes head and shudders* bah humbug...im out

2007-01-17 [RabidSphinx]: damn, i can't do anything right can i? i'm either "hateful" and "mean" or i offend people with fliffy Disney love.
fuck, i give up. you people just WANT to hate me.

2007-01-18 [~*Astarte*~]: I can only speak for myself, but I wasn't offended by the Disney talk and links. It was actually a nice break from the normal stuff that tends to occur. And hey - I was just as much a part of the sharing, so if anyone is guilty, I would need to be included. :)

2007-01-18 [~*Astarte*~]: Thank you for the hug [Lyon Armonial the healer]! ^_^

2007-01-18 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: no no no, i never did say that i hated you, or disney...it's just that too much fluffy feel goodness kinda...upsets my stomach. nothin to do with the fluffyness or anything, but yeah...it's awkward (for me at least). hey, you cheered up [~*Astarte*~] now, didn't you?

2007-01-18 [~*Astarte*~]: Ah... yes, [RabidSphinx] did! There was something about reading the word "hell" that brought back those specific thoughts about my son's 1-1/2 month stay in the hospital. *sigh*

2007-01-18 [~*Astarte*~]: I really enjoyed reading the quote, "Where there is love ~ there is life..." and so put it as my mood last night... Thank you, [RabidSphinx]!

2007-01-18 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: see?!?! *pokes* i tolds ya...didn i??? lol...so dont worry, be happy. and enough of the friggin emo tears!!! *grins and runs off*

2007-01-18 [RabidSphinx]: well, i have been a bitch for a while, that was me trying to make it up a little.

2007-01-18 [BlindGuardian]: *sigh*
I you were truly a bitch, you wouldn't try to make it up. Soi you don't have to worry.

And by the way, majorities are groups of people with a common interest that happen to be larger than those with other interets (or opinions, tastes, or anything you like), while masses are simply groups of people, higly prejudiced and easy to manipulate. It is usually masses that lead, not majorities. Ever heard of Ortega y Gasset?

2007-01-19 [RabidSphinx]: oh, i'm a bitch.

2007-02-09 [zoloftzantac]: Welcome to [shinobi14], our newest member! When ever some one joins (and I remember to do it) I offer a reminder to everyone that hate is a very touchy subject, and in order to talk about it in a useful way (with out fighting like crazy) we all need to make an effort to honnor this safe zone and respect others, even if we don't agree with them at all. Thanks and welcome again.

2007-02-09 [catelf]: Although without a debate, no one seems to say very much here at all. Any suggestions?

2007-02-09 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: except chat about disney *runs into cave* BAH!

2007-02-09 [RabidSphinx]: I <3 DISNEY MOVIES! :D

2007-02-10 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: yeah...we know. glad to actually see you in a good mood though

2007-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: i'm in a terrible mood, but no one needs to know that. i <3 the little mermaid

2007-02-10 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *pouts* well, feel better soon.

2007-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: not likly to happen, but thanks. my horoscope says i should be expecting something good to happen as far as my career is concerned and i will find "new love" for this valentine season...
so does that mean i will get a job finally and get my first BF?

no

but this is me being optomistic

2007-02-10 [zoloftzantac]: oh, and valentine's day is comming up soon
*hides in Sarah's closet so she can "find" him*

2007-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: my closet is crouded...with clothing...>_>;

2007-02-10 [zoloftzantac]: I know, there is barely any room in here for me :\

2007-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: are you the one that keeps knocking my stuff over in there? it seems like every day i go in there and *someone* has knocked my little rubbermade dresser over and the drawers spill their contents all over my floor. *grumbles* i was ready to blame my cats...

2007-02-11 [zoloftzantac]: oh, sorry, yeah, my bad :S

2007-02-11 [RabidSphinx]: yeah, you better be sorry...jerk

2007-03-11 [zoloftzantac]: ,v_V

2007-04-06 [Morpheumax]: hey all people in this wiki, i am in supprot of the anti- hate this wiki, but is it not an oxmoron to hate hate? whynot distaste hate or somthing like that, dont get me wrong i think it is clevar, but it was just an observation that i felt compelled to stae...

2007-04-06 [zoloftzantac]: did you read the very first sentance of this wiki?

ofcourse it is silly to "hate" hate, and we don't really "hate" hate. I named the wiki after someone told me "I hate people who hate hate"

2007-04-06 [RabidSphinx]: peopel don't know how to read, thus why i hate people

2007-04-07 [zoloftzantac]: oh, come on now, I hope you don't really hate people, it's not the right place to say that you do on the anti-hate wiki safe zone :p

2007-04-07 [~*Astarte*~]: I love people - love life and love livin' it! (This belongs on the I Love Love site...) :)

2007-04-08 [zoloftzantac]: it is okay, love is allowed here :p

2007-04-08 [RabidSphinx]: i hate people. and i hate living. i don't want to live to be 21.

2007-04-08 [zoloftzantac]: http://www.crisisservices.org/index.html
This is the website for a crisis services center in your area. Things can be better, but you have to want that and reach out for it.

2007-04-08 [RabidSphinx]: thinks can't be better, the world is going to hell. i don't want to be here to watch it.

2007-05-20 [shinobi14]: I cant stand hate!! >.<

Rock on, ZZ.

2007-05-20 [RabidSphinx]: can't stand it? then sit down. :P

2007-05-25 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: but what if he wants to be vertical and ventilating?

2007-05-25 [¤♫♪Ģєήίε♫♪¤]: Yeah, or what if he can't sit through hate either?

2007-07-02 [RabidSphinx]: yeah, my comment was directed towards Zoloft's too. he is such a perv.

Why Can't I Own a Canadian?
October 2002
Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a radio personality who dispenses advice to people who call in to her radio show. Recently, she said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22 and cannot be condoned under any circumstance. The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by a east coast resident, which was posted on the Internet. It's funny, as well as informative:

Dear Dr. Laura:

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them:

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15:19- 24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? - Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

Your devoted fan,
Jim

2007-07-03 [RabidSphinx]: that guy Cleary has never read the new Testament, but if he is a Jew, then i guess that would explain why. Mosaic Law was replaced later my Jesus’ teachings, and so those laws, though necessary at the time (slaves back then were PAID and to not touch a woman during menstruation was not because she was sinful (unclean) but simply because so was literally "unclean and it was to prevent the spread of disease etc.) no longer applied. The laws, as controversial as they are NOW, were common-place and custom, and needed to be regulated so they were not abused, Though most customs and laws were later replaced, like Slavery and animal sacrifice, the rejection of Homosexuality, Incest, Bestiality, Necrophilia, Pedophilia, Murder, Idolatry, Adultery, etc. were STILL proclaimed as “evil” and as “abominations”

oh, and I’ll have you know that the hypocrisy of that email is laughable. I’m cracking up. It is funny that the people that hate being judged the most (fags) are some of the most judgmental people out there. There are some that don’t like fags because of their lifestyle, fags don’t like those people because of their religion. Tell me, which one is the more ill tolerant, the one that disagrees with how the other CHOOSES TO LIVE THEIR LIFE, or the one that rejects the other based on their religion?
Silly hypocritical Liberals. They are all such morons.

2007-07-03 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *flips and walks on my hands* the whole world is upside down right now, lets just put it like that eh?

2007-07-03 [RabidSphinx]: the world sucks...lets blow it up. I'll start with San Fransisco

2007-07-03 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: violence begets violence....ever heard of that?

2007-07-03 [RabidSphinx]: yus i have, so the violence i have endured and witnessed, has lead to my violent tendancies today. cause and effect and all that. does that make me blameless? i sure hope so! *heads ofver to San-Fran

2007-07-03 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: but....there is also free will do consider...you reap what you sow, but you dont always sow what you reap. you choose what you send back out. therefore it's your personal choice, and can be pinned on you.

2007-07-03 [RabidSphinx]: so then your first statement is moot because free-will cancels out begotten habits.

2007-07-03 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *shrugs and walks off*

2007-07-07 [zoloftzantac]: The above use of the term "fags" sounds hateful and isn't okay in this safe zone. It is a gross overgenerization to say all gay men are a certaint way.

Some people are judgemental, and some of the most judgemental people also complain about judgemental people, but that has nothing to do with their sexual or religious orientation.

Also, calling all liberals morons is not allowed here. Please be mindful of the bounderies of this safe zone and be respectful to others if you wish to post here.

2007-07-07 [~*Astarte*~]: I completely disagree with the statement above stating that homosexuals are some of the most judgmental people around - I actually find it to be quite the opposite. If liberals are morons than I guess I'm a moron ... and proud of it! Gosh, [zoloftzantac], I am so glad I live in the town/area that we do. I would have a very difficult time surviving in a judgmental, narrow-minded, racist area. I can't even imagine raising my boys in such a place. *cringes*

2007-07-07 [RabidSphinx]: i have yet to meet a homo (in person) that DIDN'T have a chip on their shoulder and an opinion they had to forcefully voice, and one that wasn't willing to say anyone that DARED disagree with them a "homophobe"...you don't have a problem with gay people but don't support them either? HOMOPHOBE! it's retarded.
i would kill a lot of people if i lived in a place that had no moral standards or acceptable codes of conduct.
I can't wait until my brother goes on his killing spree. i will get to be on the news!!!

2007-07-09 [zoloftzantac]: A large differance here is that [~*Astarte*~] lives in Sebastopol, a tiny and very liberal, progressive and diversity loving town in a blue county and [RabidSphinx] lives in a Buffalo suburb that is fairly conservative, old fasioned and full of racial tention in a red county

Most of the gay men [~*Astarte*~] meets are adults who are living were they have chosen to live and are flurishing in a tolerant and diversity loving area.

Most of the gay males [RabidSphinx] meets are very young men (boys) still in or right out of high school. Young people who were firguring out who they are and trying to "come out" in an area that is full of many who would judge and even hate them. They are living were their parents lived and trying to make the best of it.

The black rights movement has to rage against racism to work

The womens rights movement has to rage against misogyny to work

The gay rights movement will have to continue to rage against homophobia to work.

Can one honestly claim to be an innocent casualty of that rage while running i hate homosexuality?

Also, talk of killing people isn't welcome in this safe zone.

2007-07-09 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *smiles and pounces zoloft* he's got a point! *licks zoloft across the face and jumps back*

2007-07-09 [RabidSphinx]: conservative? here? HELLL no. this is a democratic state and area, overrun by black people and liberals.

gays are a disease. i would love to see them exterminated, even if that is not the common opinion of the area, an area of art and gayness as a result. there is more gay-pride in Buffalo than san-fran, so i don't know what the fuck ZZ is talking about.

2007-07-09 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: re read the second part of zz's rant

2007-07-10 [~*Astarte*~]: I am finding the comments about homosexuals being a "disease" and the extermination of them quite upsetting. I realize that I have the choice to simply disregard the comments and not participate in this wiki. That is a choice I am choosing not to make. I would really appreciate it if the hurtful and hate-filled comments would cease immediately. Yes, we are all entitled to our opinions - but in a safe zone, such as this, we are called to express our differences of opinions in a manner befitting a "safe zone."

2007-07-10 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *smiles and nods at [~*Astarte*~]*

2007-07-10 [RabidSphinx]: What word would you have me use instead of “disease” then, since that is what I think it is. illness, sickness, ailment, infection, syndrome, malady? Tell me what word you would prefer me to use, and I will use it, but I am expressing my opinion the only way I know how.
look at homosexuality in two ways: One from a Christian POV. what is homosexuality to them? a sin, an "abomination" a "detestable thing" something that is a killable offence.
okay, think of it from a Darwinism POV. what is homosexuality in the grand scheme of evolution? a dead end, a retardation in the evolution, a failure. homosexuals, according to Darwin’s theory of evolution should be extinct. i agree with that. they are a worthless branch of evolution that will go the way of the feathered dinosaurs.

and i did look at the second half of Zoloft's comment. I looked at the WHOLE comment actually, and homosexuals are not people that need rights, they need a quick extermination since they are faulty, faulty not on a physical level, or mental, but an evolutionary. they are not simply cripples, or blind, or mentaly retarded,(all things that are unfortunate and i do not think sould be exterminated) they are genetically worthless. they are not people to me.

2007-07-10 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: hmm....heil hitler then...that is the exact thinking that drove millions of people to die in WWII

2007-07-10 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: and the same mentality that said that slavery was ok...

2007-07-10 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: and that women shouldnt have rights....so by your own mentality, you would have no room to speak. people are people, what makes the world good is that there is diversity...if everyone were the same, there would be no genious...we'd be lowered to the common denominator. its like saying all people who like pizza should be killed....just because someone has their own views, likes, and opinions does not mean they should be killed!

2007-07-10 [RabidSphinx]: when did i say women didn't deserve rights? i was talking about homosexuals exclusively in my comment. women didn't come up, well, unless you look at it like i was talking about lesbians strictly, but then i would be talking about lesbians, not ALL women. and slavery? Hating someone because their skin evolved to produce more melanin is wrong.

diversity is a beautiful thing. tall, short, dark skin, light skin, blue-green-brown eyes, red hair, freckles, wonky pink tows, attached or hanging earlobes. it is fun. what do homosexuals have to do with diversity? nothing. They are not part of a “divers species” they are part of a branch that went wrong.

and again, you are taking things to a stupid extreme. are you saying gays CHOOSE to be gay, just like people CHOOSE to eat pizza? if you are, then i say gays are just immoral pigs, but since the common opinion is that they are "born that way" then they are, like i said, an evolutionary retardation, something that is supposed to be bread out of the population by NATURAL SELECTION ALONE. i am not saying gas-chamber them, i am saying they don't deserve rights because they are something that doesn't have a right to exist in the first place.
they will go the way of other failed evolutionary detours.

2007-07-10 [~*Astarte*~]: So ... what I hear you saying is that any human being that doesn't fit into the societal "norm" (whatever that is) - any being that is in your words "an evolutionary retardation" should be bred out of the population? That's something very difficult for this mom of 3 boys to hear. My middle son has multiple medical issues that are genetically based. My youngest son is on the autism spectrum and has AD/HD. Are you saying that anyone who isn't "perfect" in the eyes of what is considered to be the societal norm should be exterminated or bred out of the population? I'm finding this conversation unbelievable I suppose because I have never met someone who is so filled with such hatred.

2007-07-10 [RabidSphinx]: Okay, you either did not read my message, or you were incapable of grasping it, so I will repeat myself, using smaller words this time.
I made a point of saying that i have nothing against other people that are misfortunate, like cripples, mentally retarded, etc. and I quote: “they (homosexuals) are not simply cripples, or blind, or mentally retarded,(all things that are unfortunate and i do not think should be exterminated)” …okay? Now, I know this is hard for you to hear, but, to be honest, though I do not wish this upon anyone, but natural selection WOULD cut them out if we didn't live in a society that catered to them. Sickly, wounded, ill-equipped animals are picked off by predators so that only the strongest survive to pass on their genetics to the next generation, thus keeping the species strong and healthy. Look at how fucked up Humans are. We have no natural predators, only each other, and we allow the stupid, and the retarded, and the genetically lame people to breed, just retarding the population further. I’m not about to campaign to change that (though forced sterilization of stupid people would be a big step in a good direction) but I aid by simply not procreating myself. I would never bring a child into this world. You are the one, of the two of us, that is so cruel as to have brought a son (and two others) into this world, and look what you have done, he is sick. way to go! *two thumbs up*
In my comment about things being bred out of the population, and “exterminated” I was talking about homosexuals, not anyone else.
Homosexuals do not need any help from me to rid them out of the gene pool, they are doing it themselves because homosexuals cannot reproduce, men with men, women with women, it doesn't work, thus what i said about NATURAL SELECTION and it being an evolutionary retardation. evolution relies on the adaptations made being able to be passed on to future generations. homosexuals cannot do that, thus where they fail.
and i am not talking about a "social norm" did you READ what i wrote? i am talking about what is a "natural law" a "norm" if you will, but still a rule established by nature and preached by Darwin. I am not talking about what is “normal in Kentucky” or whatever, I am talking about what the body’s natural purpose is.
I am not filled with "hatred”, i am filled with logic, and intelligence, things i guess you wouldn't know anything about. I may be blunt, and saying things that are true, but you don't WANT to hear, but at least i'm not a bleeding heart. such a state accomplishes nothing but allows things to only get progessively worse.

2007-07-12 [zoloftzantac]: Anyone who doesn't agree to respect this safe zone is not welcome to post here.

Judemental comments towards others, their choices, lifestyles, health/qulity of life, race, gender, sexual preferance, faith, blood type, etc will not be tolerated in this safe zone.

Comments about exterminating groups of people is hateful and is something I will rage against if it doesn't stop immediatly.

*puts on his guard hat*

[RabidSphinx] I find many of your comments to be judgmental, insulting, hateful and generaly disruptive to the peace. If your comments are not respectful to everyone then they are not welcome here.

2007-07-12 [RabidSphinx]: you just don't like that i'm right.

2007-07-12 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: da**it...we think your comments are wretched, horrid and disturbing...we do NOT think you're right.

2007-07-12 [RabidSphinx]: what, you do not believe in darwinism?

2007-07-12 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: yes, i believe in darwinism...and the theory of evolution...but the thing with homosexuality is that even if they were all killed off as you so wish, there would still be more in the next generation. homosexuals are not only born that way, but choose to be that way. *laughs slightly* male baboons in asia frequently mount other males for practice in mating. because humans have a more evolved brain, some retain this "primal training technique" and choose to ebrace that way (this is the part evolution helped....complex decision making). there are even a pair of homosexual male emperor pinguins in captivity. in my eyes though, it should not matter what the sex of a partner is, just as long as they love and are faithful to eachother.

2007-07-12 [RabidSphinx]: animals in captivity cannot be taken into account in "natural behavior" because according to the principle of uncertainty, anything you study you also change. animals in captivity, and domesticated animals, are not in a natural habitat and regularly exhibit unnatural behaviors in response to their surroundings.
and for "homosexual behavior" in the wild, it is not "homosexual" it is a form of domination. male animals will mount each other in something similar to a sexual act to assert their dominance over the other male. likewise, a dominant female will mount a male for the same reason, so are you saying she is trying to have sex with him? humping is not a sexual act for animals, humans see it that way, because we are perverted.
and Homosexuality very much so IS a choice, and a wrong one at that because, like i said before countless times, it is a perverse misuse of the human body and purpose of sexual activity. It goes against everything the Human (and mammal) body is designed to do.

2007-07-14 [L V F]: Wicekd as often as i dont post here this is one time i would like to express my opinion. In being a Bisexual male i have come to learn that love is love. It doesnt matter what sex you are if you love the person than its fine. Alltho in saying this i also do not like that fact that alot of gay and bisexual woman and men have sex with people they barley know just because they feel like they need it. So in my way of thinking being homosexual or bisexual is allright as long as you dont abuse if thats the right word your... sexual prefrence. Now once again im gonna back to the sidelines and just watch and listen.

2007-07-15 [RabidSphinx]: whatever, i am over this. move on, because i am tired to talking to a wall.

2007-07-17 [zoloftzantac]: Engaging in homosexual sex is a choice, having a desire to do so is not.

2007-07-17 [RabidSphinx]: like i said, talking to a wall

2007-07-17 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *shakes head and sits down* so how are you today joe?

2007-07-18 [~*Astarte*~]: Well, I celebrated the 12th birthday of my middle son today - he's such a blessing to everyone he meets and has one of the biggest, sweetest, most loving, caring hearts of anyone I know ... Joseph has met him, and without a doubt, I'm sure would agree ... ^_^

2007-07-18 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *smiles and hugs jen* im glad to hear that dear. i hope there are many more blessed birthdays for him to come. *smiles*

2007-07-19 [zoloftzantac]: Hey Jen, I'm glad you had a nice day together with your son. Tell him I said Happy Birthday ;)

2007-07-21 [~*Astarte*~]: Thank you both [Lyon Armonial the healer] and [zoloftzantac] for the birthday wishes for Dom! I did indeed give him your b'day blessings and Happy Birthday wishes! His face lit up like a Christmas tree with a smile so big it could circle the world! Thank you again! Btw, he wanted me to tell everyone that one of his gifts (from his best friend) is a leopard gecko - he named her Stardust, because of the sparkles she has right behind her head. This was before we knew about the new movie "Stardust" coming out on 8/10, which of course, he now wants to see! ^_^

2007-07-21 [Lyon Armonial the healer]: *laughs and sits back* thats cute...

2007-09-12 [zoloftzantac]: Yep, Stardust sure is a cutie (and the gecko is pretty cute too)

(this was a joke that became lost when Stardust changed her name to [~*Astarte*~])

2007-10-20 [GlassCasket]: HOLY CRAP!!! people talk a lot in here lmao!

2007-10-21 [~*Astarte*~]: A joke that became lost, eh!? [stardust] was a cutie, huh? Well, given that I was [stardust] and am [~*Astarte*~], I think I would know better than anyone as to whether or not I'm a cutie ... and I know I am! Eh, even cuter than my son's gecko named Stardust! :p

2007-11-04 [Lez_emo_lover]: Wats up? Cool page can i jack a banner and put on my page?

2007-11-04 [zoloftzantac]: yep, you're welcome to use any of the art on this page or display these banners, thanks :)

2007-11-05 [Lez_emo_lover]: Stellar

If I had TV I would watch that program, Mata Amritanandamayi is one of the people they are going to talk to, I've been doing volunteer work for her for a long time. I'm glad [~*Astarte*~] and her son got to meet her in Nov :)

2007-12-22 [~*Astarte*~]: Yes, we did! And I'm going back soon for a silent retreat - yay! ^_^

2007-12-24 [RabidSphinx]: *purrs* happy christmas/holidays peoples.

2007-12-27 [~*Astarte*~]: I watched "In God's Name" and was amazed. Tears filled my eyes many times. At the end, one of the producers of the documentary stated that in the end, he came to this one (of many) conclusion: "Religion is seeking the truth."

And just for the record, of the twelve Spiritual Leaders interviewed - not one, and I mean not one, said that anywhere in their religious teachings does it state that to kill in the name of God is okay. My brain is still healing, and there were so many quotes I wanted to remember ... my hope is the documentary will come out on DVD, and I will get to watch it again.

2008-05-02 [zoloftzantac]: That was a cool program, I was happy to see Ammachi as one of the people they talked to. :D

2008-05-10 [~*Astarte*~]: Yes, it was very cool. I, too, was happy to see Amma as one of the people they interviewed. And to think you and I and our families get to see her soon - like in 4 weeks - how blessed are we!? Extremely blessed, I'd say! :D

I've been falling in love with the gal of my dreams and been having tons of fun making jams, wines, meads, candies & sorbets out of my favorite summer harvests (black berries, peaches, plums, pears, straw berries, apples, elderberries and grapes) Yum!

Nothing interesting has happened here in 5 years so go ahead and remove the listing in index if you like. If it is going to be deleted tho, please let me know ahead of time so I can re-read all the comments and remove my links to it.

2012-02-24 [Stephen]: Oh, it's from the public section of the Index.

We never delete pages (unless there's some extremely horrible content on it).
